Lifeline's Annual Backpack & Wellness Drive

Every child deserves to start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

Many of the children, youth, and young adults served through Lifeline Community Services face significant barriers to success, including housing instability, financial hardship, and limited access to basic necessities. For many families, purchasing school supplies and wellness essentials can create an additional financial burden.

Through our annual Backpack & Wellness Drive, Lifeline provides backpacks filled with school supplies and wellness items to youth and young adults participating in our programs across San Diego County.

This year, our goal is to equip 400 students with the tools they need to start the school year ready to succeed.

Make a Donation

Your financial contribution helps ensure children, youth, and young adults have the supplies they need to start the school year prepared and confident. Any additional funds raised will support Lifeline's education and afterschool programs, extending the impact of your gift well beyond the first day of school.

Host a Collection Drive

Hosting a drive is a meaningful way to engage your community while helping local students start the school year strong.

Rally your workplace, school, faith community, business, or neighborhood group to collect backpacks, school supplies, and wellness items. A Lifeline representative will be thrilled to join your group for a backpack stuffing event or to host at one of our facilities!
